Last night, all the members of the 2009-2010 Students For Liberty Executive Board arrived in DC for the Leadership Retreat: a week-long, intensive session for SFL's leaders to orient themselves with the organization, discuss how to best promote liberty on campus, strategize for the upcoming school year, and begin preparing so we can hit the ground running.
Today, the Leadership Retreat will be at the Cato Institute. We'll be going over the basics of the history of SFL, the organization's vision, our niche in the larger pro-liberty movement, and related topics.
This promises to be a great week that will strengthen SFL's ability to support students and help prepare the next generation of liberty leaders. We'll be updating the blog with information and pictures from the Retreat.
By the way, if you're in the DC area this week, stop by the SFL Exec Board Social on Friday night at Capitol City Brewing Co. by Metro Center. You do not have to be 21 to get in, and it's going to be a great chance to get to know all of SFL's new leaders.
